Visualizing Factory
Available inCloudEnterprise
Factory data connected to Tier0 can be visualized as digital twin with life-like motions and environment. The process goes from mapping data to 3D models to combining models together to build a complete factory scene.
Mapping Data to 3D Models
Section titled “Mapping Data to 3D Models”- Select nodes to map with UNS data for real-time motions after uploading a model in Model.
- Add instances with different UNS data onto the model to simulate different machines.
- Bind data to the model, and use Preview to check whether it moves and rotates as the data changes.
- Position: The model moves along the mapped direction of the coordinate.
- Rotation: The model rotates around the coordinate original point in the mapped direction.
- Use Data Tagging to add tags for static information display.
Visualizing Factory Scene
Section titled “Visualizing Factory Scene”- Add instances that should exist in the scene from Instance Library.
- Use tools at the top to move, scale, and rotate models to fit the scene, and to change the viewing perspective and coordinate position.
- Model position can be confirmed by Object at the right corner, which displays the bound UNS data.
- Viewport and lighting are for environment details.
External Share
Section titled “External Share”Only instances can be shared either by model or by scene.
- Share Model: Generates a Tier0 platform link where the model with live UNS data is displayed.
- Share Scene: Generates a Tier0 platform link where the model and its scene, with live UNS data and environment settings, are displayed.
